Atlas Garners First Win at Minerva

On July 28, the Atlas Nine of Delaware City traveled to Bridgeton, NJ to face the Minerva BBC for that club’s inaugural match. In front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Bridgeton Baseball Tournament, the Atlas put on a steady offensive performance and played solid defense to come away with the club’s first victory.  At the striker’s line, the Delaware City nine were lead by Dutch (3 hits, 3 aces) and Leather (2-2 from the line).

The Diamond State Base Ball Club will return to the field on August 3, as they return to northern Delaware after a series of games on the road.  They will face the BBC of Rising Sun, MD at 1:00 pm at the Twin Lakes Brewery in Greenville.
