Blue and Black Split with Milford
On Sunday, June 14 the Diamond State BBC traveled to Harrington to play a pair of matches against their in-state rivals from the Excelsior BBC of Milford. The first match saw the Milford side jump out to a 6-1 advantage after 5 innings. The Diamond States came charging back in their 6th and 7th innings, but came up just short by the final tally of 9-6.
The Blue and Black bounced back well in the second game, scoring 13 aces while holding the home side to just a pair of tallies.
The Diamond States were led at the striker’s line by Blackbart (6 hits), Lightning (2 triples) and The Bull (4 hits).
