DSBBC-Potomac Washed Out
August 14, 2011 – The match scheduled today between the Diamond State Base Ball Club and Potomac Nine of Washington at Fort DuPont State Park in Delaware City has been rained out. The game will be rescheduled during the 2012 season.
Diamond State’s final home match of the season takes place on Sunday, September 18 at Ft. DuPont versus the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia. The first game will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Next Saturday, August 20, the Blue and Black will play two matches at the Philadelphia Vintage Base Ball Exhibition & Fair versus the Atlantic BBC of Brooklyn and the Gotham BBC of New York. Game times have yet to be determined but will be announced on DiamondStateBaseBall.com as soon as they are made available.
