DSBBC To Face Easton Nine
June 21, 2011 – The Diamond State Base Ball Club (DSBBC) will play host to Mid Atlantic Vintage Base Ball League (MAVBBL) rival the Fair Play Base Ball Club of Talbot County (Easton, MD) this coming Sunday, June 26 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Fort DuPont State Park in Delaware City. The match will consist of two 7-inning games and will be the first played at Fort DuPont ball field in 2011. Diamond State’s earlier match in May against the Mechanicsburg Nine was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Park admission for the base ball match is $3 for adults (ages 12 & over) and $2 for children (ages 4-11). Children 3 and under are admitted free. Patrons are encouraged to bring seating.

Diamond State’s record currently stands at 6-4 (6th in the MAVBBL), while the Fair Plays are at 10-4 (4th in MAVBBL).
